Kim Olesen
Here is my problem: I have a track stack that has several tracks with esx instruments. I have several setups of instruments saved like that (as patches). If i load one of the other patches the volume automation on the track stack gets erased. Is that by design or a bug? Jordi Torres
Hi, Since automation is not saved within patches, loading a patch shouldn't erase any automation. Seems more like a bug than anything else to me. You could walk around this by copying the volume automation before loading a new patch, then pasting it once the new patch is loaded. J. Eric Cardenas
Moving this to the bugs section.
RossFraser
Has there been any update on this bug? I can confirm it happening in 10.3.2. The bug is easy to duplicate: 1) Set up an instrument track for, e.g., Yamaha grand piano. 2) Add volume automation 3) Choose another piano from the library (e.g., Steinway grand). 4) Watch as the automation disappears. 5) Edit Undo "load patch". 6) Watch the volume automation reappear. Eric Cardenas
It's still present. I try to move fixed bugs out of this forum to keep it clean.
