Elazmo Hiftenfifter
I have observed this bug since LPX 10.3.2: Whenever a MIDI FX "modifier" in an AU instrument channel strip receives notes on more than one MIDI channel at a time, notes hang. This has been reported on the VSL site as well. For example, load a Vintage Organ, set to multichannel input in "splits." Of course, set the track to "All" MIDI channel input in the inspector. Insert a modifier before the organ. It can be set to any setting that does not interfere with the notes passing through. Play two keyboards concurrently, transmitting on channels 1 and 2 respectively. Notes will hang. Delete the modifier, and all is well. Buffer settings have no influence on the behavior. Anybody else seeing this? If so, let's report it. Thanks, Elazmo 2010 MBP i7, Motifs, RMEs, LPX 10.3.3, OS 10.12.
Elazmo Hiftenfifter
Fixed!!! I can't thank enough the people who paid attention to this. Being able to assign MIDI controllers on a project-by-project basis, when you have 30 college students using the same iMac, is wonderful. Fixed!
