Ploki
For some reason (and this only happens with bass guitar, consistently!), I almost always have to move transient markers for bass guitar by hand for a few samples, it doesn't snap to 0 and it ends up with click on almost every attack. when i move it just slightly (few samples) it works as its supposed to. anyone noticed this? This is different bass guitars and recordings, not just what i play/record. I do editing for others and they send me tracks recorded to completely different equipment and it happens there as well
Eric Cardenas
Yes. It’s not only bass that is affected, but it becomes very obvious on the lower side of the frequency spectrum.
Ploki
well at least i'm not crazy. any workarounds except manually correcting flex markers? I used to do a quick and dirty "declick in RX" for rendered files... but i feel bad about doing that.
Eric Cardenas
No, not that I know of. I go through them manually.
Ploki
Sigh. yeah me too. when you're super lazy you can use a declicker.
rodrigolanabh
Hello! If I understood a question well ... first activate the flex pitch and then switch to flex slicing, so it will solve.
Ploki
I just tried what you suggested, but it makes no difference unfortunately
rodrigolanabh
If possible, make a video to see what's going on.
Ploki
video wont do much as its not visible, you can hear audible clicks when doing low frequency instruments with flex-time, and then you have to move transient marker *ever so slightly* to the correct position so the click is not audible anymore.
