Enrize
1. Some UI elements in native Logic plugins looks blurry on a Retina display. This is regression since 10.3.2 version. It can be temporary fixed manually by changing color profile in MacOS preferences (to any profile), but after closing and reopening plugin windows it happens again. Here is video : https://youtu.be/3mLh90pz3lE 2. Automation dots looks blurry too. This is regression as well. It also happens with velocity dots in piano roll editor. Only tempo automation is still in Retina mode, you can compare by looking at it. Could anybody confirm this please?
Ploki
Sorry, never happened here.
Enrize
Are you sure? Maybe you didn't noticed?
Ploki
No, I notice that immediately because it bothers me to death (every non retina element stings me in the.. retina (badumtsh)) EQ was always smooth and automation as well. which machine are you working on? Enrize
EQ and Compressor are good. Try Multimeter or Match EQ for example. I'm on Macbook Pro 15" 2017 (with Touchbar). Also compare automation dots for tempo automation (in global tracks) and any other automation dots on a normal track. The first one in Retina here while track automation dots are in low res. Here are screenshots Before After i change display profile
Ploki
holy s#!+ you're right, I'm sorry. Yes, confirmed. changing profile does nothing. I didn't notice automation because I'm running it at 1920*1200
Enrize
Changing color profile only fix GUI of plugins when they opened. When you close and open plugin window again it goes back to low resolution mode. And it does not fix the automation dots.
