tapasrelia Posted February 4, 2018 Share Posted February 4, 2018 Application crash (and loss of active take ) when you stop playback while recording, depending on how the STOP button/Spacebar is configured. Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Change default behaviour of STOP button from ‘STOP’ to either ‘Stop and Go to Left Locator’ or ‘Stop and Go to Last Locate Position’ 2. Reassign the Spacebar shortcut in Key Commands from ‘Play Or Stop’ to either ‘Stop and Go to Left Locator’ or ‘Stop and Go to Last Locate Position’ Once you’ve done the above, continue with the following… 3. Arm an audio track 4. Start Playback [spacebar] or [click Play] 5. Start recording while it’s playing. [R] or [click the Record button] 6. Stop Playback [spacebar] or [click the Stop button] 7. Immediate Crash and loss of active take. Workaround: 1. Toggle record (Stop Recording) BEFORE hitting Stop [before Step 6 above] 2. Do not change the default behaviour of the STOP button or Spacebar.
