Merlin
In Logic 10.4 the Track Lock function (Control Surface Setup for Logic Control --> Track Lock) is not working (for me). Can anyone confirm / refute? A fresh "com.apple.logic.pro.cs" won't help. I guess the last time the Track Lock function for the MCU pro worked was in Logic 9, but I'm not sure. Deselecting "Control surface follows track selection" in the Control Surfaces Preferences does work (in Logic 10.4) and gives the same results as "Track Lock" should give, however the "Track Lock" function is accessible from the MCU Pro whereas "Control surface follows track selection" can't be controlled from the MCU Pro. Thanks, Merlin.
Merlin
Still not working in 10.4.2. Is there a MCU Pro owner that can confirm? Then I'll submit this to Apple again. Many thanks, M.
Andreas Lorentsen
I can confirm this. I found a temporary workaround though, which I described in detail here. However, it's only a workaround, in many ways comparable to fixing your car engine with super glue and duct tape
Merlin
Thanks atchoo! I'll re-submit the issue to Apple then. Since the "Control surface follows track selection-function" (which by deselecting gives the same result as "track lock" should give) is working properly, I can't imagine that a fix would be problematic for Apple. Although I admit that that is only a feeling and not something I have any true knowledge of. Cheers, M.
