okok
hi it used to be possible to have a different quantization between the original and alias region. for some reason I am not able to do that anymore. after I have created an alias I wanted to use a different quantization (original = no quantize, alias 16 swing e). but there is no quantization happening in the alias, unless I quantize the original. strange. does anybody know a solution please? cheers! Atlas007
Converting the alias into a real region is the obvious workaround... Not at the studio presently to verify same... However the documentation stipulate clearly that region's parameters could be edited independently from the parent region...

David Nahmani
You're correct, this does not seem to be possible.
okok
it was possible though... with previous LPX versions?
David Nahmani
I don’t remember ever trying to use this.
mpmusicny
It may have been 6 months to a year since I've had to do this, but aliases could definitely be quantized differently. this looks like a recent bug . .
David Nahmani
Moving this to the Bug section then.
