Clear Solo

1. I mute one track in my session

2. I press the solo button on that track to solo it.

3. I clear the solo by pressing the solo button again.

 

At this point, the track is muted, which is correct. However, if I do this:

 

1. I mute one track in my session

2. I press the solo button on that track to solo it.

3. I clear the solo by pressing the "Clear Solo" button.

 

I would expect the track to be muted at this point, but it is unmuted. Misunderstanding or bug?

Since the Clear Solo button is designed to clear and/or recall the Solo states (but not the Mute ones) of all the tracks, I would tend to believe that is a design decision, although a questionable one.

I would call that a bug. I can't think of any reason the behavior should be different depending on wether you clear the solo by clicking the individual track solo button or the main clear solo button.
