schlomojorgensen
Happened here also one time. Reboot Logic and all was fine and dandy again!
Rougin
Not for me reoccurring problem here...
David Nahmani
I don't have a solution but what do you mean by inspector tracks?
Rougin
By "inspector tracks", I mean the two mixer tracks shown to the bottom left in main window
skijumptoes
What happens if you reload the screenset when it happens? Also what machine is this on? OS? Retina? Discrete GFX card?
nev17
Every now and then the mixer goes totally empty!Even the inspector tracks disappears. Yep. It's happened to me. An LPX restart didn't cure it but a computer restart did.
Ashermusic
Yep, happened here too.
robinloops
Lost the stereo out and master but toggling mixer views brought them back. Then disappeared again after a minute or two. But Restarting fixed it and hasn’t happened since.
jonljacobi
If you've read any of the GearSlutz theming topics, it's become obvious that they've redone some of the mixer rendering code and it's separate from the rest. Looks like a bit of a rush job at this point and from this thread, not hooked in properly. That's not helpful, except to point out that it's a work in progress and likely foremost in their minds. Rougin
Knock on wood... after 3(!) computer reboots everything seems ok... I'll report back if the mixer magically disappears again
nonopotato
Happened here too! I’ve restarted logic twice already, but it looks like I’m gonna have to restart the computer now...

JammDizzler
Hi, I have been experiencing this too - after 10.4.5 download, in the middle of mixing a song I will go to display the faders/fx etc and the entire window is empty, the only way rectify is reboot Logic. Frustrating, but good to see it has been logged
spidey66
Yep same here, restart fixed the issue : )
JammDizzler
This is a recurring problem, restart/reboot will temporarily fix the issue but once Logic is relaunched and used for a time, the mixer window will again fail to display channel strips. Definite bug
simonja
Confirmative. Intermittent error. Only option is restart.
badluck
Just came to confirm and add my experience ... tracks wont highlight in the mixer corresponding with the tracks i have selected in arrangement. Makes discerning what track im working on less than instantaneous. besides rebooting logic, opening the piano roll then back to the mixer works for me
alextrecarichi
recalling a screenset fixed it for me

fouberts
I'm on Logic Pro X 10.4.7 and have similar problem of large grey area on the left of my mixer (wasting space on my monitor). Sometimes it's just a matter using left-right scrolling to locate it again. Other times it fails to re-appear, however if I drag the mixer wider and narrower (pulling the right-hand edge of mixer in and out like a squeeze-box!) it reappears! Realise this may well be a well known glitch - but it motivated me to join your forum: Hi Y'all! steve
