Sascha Franck
No idea what's going on, but when you, say, cut a bar of an audio file into 16th notes, then do nothing else but chose Auto Create Sampler Track, the resulting EXS patch should sound *exactly* the same when the MIDI region created during the process is playing through it. There should be absolutely no gaps between the notes, so a long, sustained note should sound just like that. But it isn't anymore. The resulting sound is already chopped, even if you drag "release" from the EXS' amp ADSR up all the way (which shouldn't even be required). 100% reproducable, has never been like that in any versions prior to LPX. Yet another completely messed up feature.
Sascha Franck
And fwiw, you can't even select the latest Logic version on Apples feedback site. Latest they're offering is 10.4.4. How should that make me believe they're actually reading anything? I mean, I don't believe into that anyway for a long time already, but that's just another indication...
