apaclin2
If you put a track in a summing stack, send a bus to aux post pan and solo the aux channel, there will be no sound, although it works with pre-fader. Again, no problem if you don't use a track stack. How to avoid this problem if I wanna listen to aux in solo from a summed track in post pan? apaclin2
So, unfixable? Wanna collectively email Apple so that they fix this bug?

David Nahmani
Peoples, any workarounds for this bug? I'm afraid I can't think of a workaround, no. Unless it's fixed in 10.6.3 (I haven't updated yet)?
apaclin2
Checked, it's not. So it never will be.
David Nahmani
Checked, it's not. So it never will be. That's quite an overreaching conclusion. Bugs are never fixed before they are. Did you report the bug to Apple?

David Nahmani
Good. Then don't despair, it may get fixed in a future release. I'll report it on my end as well.

grubmanus
My workaround: 1. Set the stack to No Output 2. Solo the stack (and desired aux) 3. Use the power buttons of tracks within the stack to control what feeds the aux Just need to reset the power buttons & stack's output when done. AMD
A simple workaround: 1. create a 'dummy' empty audio track or software instrument track with nothing loaded on it and drag this track into your stack. 2. Solo your 'dummy' track at the same time as the aux you would like to solo and you will hear the output from the aux only. Freaky!
