No sound from soloed AUX from a summed track

If you put a track in a summing stack, send a bus to aux post pan and solo the aux channel, there will be no sound, although it works with pre-fader. Again, no problem if you don't use a track stack.

How to avoid this problem if I wanna listen to aux in solo from a summed track in post pan?

A simple workaround:

1. create a 'dummy' empty audio track or software instrument track with nothing loaded on it and drag this track into your stack.

2. Solo your 'dummy' track at the same time as the aux you would like to solo and you will hear the output from the aux only.

Freaky!

My workaround:

1. Set the stack to No Output

2. Solo the stack (and desired aux)

3. Use the power buttons of tracks within the stack to control what feeds the aux

Just need to reset the power buttons & stack's output when done.

Thanks guys for posting your workarounds! :)
