ComboDrums
Hello, As a drummer for many years now, I'd like to practice and enjoy myself with some covers of my favorite metal bands. I have an electronic drums with Roland TD-V6 module with MIDI output, a Fast Track Pro with MIDI input, an iPad 1 with IOS 5.1.1, a USB hub to set enough power for all these people and the camera connector. Everything seems to be OK except when I record. As you can hear in the sound in the zip attached, it seems some hits are no recorded in Garage Band, like i'm playing drunk (which is very hard to do in a real situation ). So, I don't know what is the problem... Is my iPad is too old to do a task like that ? Is my set is not properly done ? Any idea ? Thx a lot. test.zip missing some hits
Eric Cardenas
It's most certainly the iPad 1 and OS 5 that is your problem.
ComboDrums
Thx for your answer. Indeed I think the problem comes from the iPad, even if a task like recording MIDI is a simple task... Or from the TD-V6 module which send the MIDI impulses to my iPad... I have an iPhone 5 IOS 9.2 too with an lightning adaptator to old iDevices plug, is it possible to test with ? Thx.
