DaveRobinson
Hi There is a way to revert back to a previous version. If you use Time-Machine and have updated your App, your previous version will be there. I haven't used the time machine method yet as I back up to USB also. Lp9 Users: I installed Lp9 from DVD and incrementally upgraded through to 9.1.8 ... So my Applications folder had Two Logic Pro Apps. Logic Pro 9.0.2.app (the DVD installer default) and Logic Pro.app (the most recent application 9.1.8 So I was fortunate, when the score guru I read here on the forum recommended I drop back to (9.1.5) I could. Method used: Browsed to the Applications folder. Renamed Logic Pro.app to Logic Pro 9.1.8.app and moved it to a back up external disk leaving only Logic Pro 9.0.2.app which I duplicated and renamed the copy Logic Pro.app So if I'd opened logic it would have been (9.0.2 version). I didn't open logic. I downloaded the Logic Pro (9.1.5) combo installer from the apple site and ran it. Updating 9.0.2 straight up to 9.1.5 Once OSX had upgraded and I was convinced 9.1.8 was ready I repeated the process.. Renamed Logic Pro.app to Logic Pro 9.1.5.app and moved it to a back up external disk leaving only Logic Pro 9.0.2.app which I duplicated and renamed the copy Logic Pro.app .. Downloaded and ran the 9.1.8 combo installer which upgraded 9.0.2 directly to 9.1.8 ... This did away with all incremental updates... Logic Pro 9.1.1 through 9.1.6 updates http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1519 However, usually, you have to start from the version you have today. LpX Users: Browse to your Applications folder and duplicate your Logic Pro X app Rename the copy to the version name and move to back up drive. e.g. 10.0.4 users would see this. Logic Pro X 10.0.4.app (move this copy to back up disk) Logic Pro X.app When apple upgrades the Logic Pro X.app You have the previous version e.g. (10.0.4) on external disk... You would rename the apple updated app to the new version name, and move it out of the way. Copy your Previous version back up to the Applications folder, and rename to: Logic Pro X.app Here's a picture of my USB BackUp Apps
robinloops
Do you need to copy the settings/config files as well? What about anything else?
rAC
I have never worried about copying the extra’s but then I’ve not personalised them much, 10.5.0 mentions it will change key commands so it might be an idea to copy those also.

robinloops
If you use time machine, the config file will be in there. But have you looked at key command presets? Maybe there’s one called ‘classic’ or something like that.
