Create living soundscapes with the Modulator in Logic Pro X using Alchemy soundscapes

First of all, the sheet load of soundscapes in Alchemy is awesome but don't forgot that multiplies when you change the setting in the x/y pad.

Here I use the Modulator to create a smooth path so the sound stays smooth for a decent sounding ambient sound.

 

Of course if you want radical, apply a Randomize object and see what happens. (I show that as well).

Wow! That's really cool. I had already sussed out how to apply a sine wave from the Modulator to the Frequency or Resonance of a filter, boring stuff really! But the idea of applying two modulators to an X-Y control is really neat and I love the idea of introducing chaos into the precedings via the Randomiser!
