kingminotaur
I have an external tuner I prefer for tuning guitars , basses etc. But I go direct into interface and don't use amps. I have a Behringer Euphoria with INSERTS on each of the 4 tracks, and I learned how to use the inserts as a send for the tuner. Simply take a 2 conductor regular mono guitar cable and push it partially into the insert jack, to the first clear click. In my unit that leaves about 1/4" of the normally hidden barrel visible. ( The barrel that would usually go all the way in to the guitar amp) That will SEND signal out on that guitar cable to whatever you need. I have it going to a tuner. WARNING: If you plug a regular mono guitar cable ALL THE WAY it interrupts without returning, and the channel will appear DEAD. Nothing will register on input and you'll hear nothing. Inserts are primarily designed for sending AND returning via a 3 conductor plug.
Atlas007
Thanks for sharing the trick. It sounds like one explained in the Mackie VLZ mixer manual...
