Poke
I've made an incredibly exciting discovery last night, and I'm trying to share it with as many people who are using M1 Macs and are having an issue with Waves' plugins. Here's a link to the fix! Enjoy making music on your M1 !!!
facej
my M1 MBAir runs my Waves plugins just fine. I installed everything on the Mac "from scratch" and set Logic to "Rosetta" mode. Most plugins work OK, just slow to "startup" as the Intel code gets translated...
Poke
I did a clean setup too. I (and many other people) wasn't so lucky. I'm wondering if there's a run difference between the Air and the Pro, as I've seen videos where people who had the M1 Air also had no issues with Waves. Interesting! stickhead
That looks awesome! Thanks for the Vid. I just wonder if the Waves Plugins need to be upgraded to V12 for this to work?
facej
I just updated Waves plugins to 12.7 on the MBA M1 - no issues - everything still in Rosetta
stickhead
I did the same, I didn`t even need the workaround, all waves plugins work properly...
