mikeken
Hi When I record my guitar on my interface the audio line is just flat with no normal wave lines I use the logic amp simulator and find that all my tracks are just one straight line how do I boost those lines to go up and down? Do I have to record a dry signal first then add the amp simulator effect after Thanks
JakobP
No, you don't have to. Try this: Record arm the track and mute it. Play the guitar and watch the meter on the guitar channel strip. Adjust the strength of the signal with the gain knob on your interface, you should have it as high as possible without ever hitting red, with a little margin. Now unmute the track and lower the fader on the channel strip to get your monitoring volume right. Then record, do you still have the same problem ?
