The tape stop effect is the effect you get when your walkman batteries dies, or you stop a wheel to wheel tape from turning, or you place your hand over a vinyl to slow it down and ultimately stop it from turning during playback, read on. This effect slows down the audio playback while at the same time lowering the pitch, until playback completely stops. 1. Click an Audio FX slot on your Stereo Out channel strip and choose Specialized > Remix FX. 2. In Remix FX, click either the left or the right side of the Stop button at the bottom: 3.
