andyr
Hi all, I rarely use the same reverb twice when it comes to vocals. I will start with a preset and modify it until it sounds right for the particular song I'm working on, then I save it. I imagine that's what most of us do. Usually I'm flying blind, not really sure what I want to hear, but today I actually have an idea, for once! I want a reverb for a female vocal will sounds "like an intimate, haunting memory." What the hell does that actually mean, right? These things are subjective as hell, and you haven't even heard the song, right? Well, in the spirit of random experimentation, I was just curious to know if anyone has a patch up their sleeve they might use to get this kind of effect, something that might be a good starting point for me. If not, I will continue to putter along until I have a eureka moment. But I thought I'd ask. Thanks, and stay safe out there! Andy
Atlas007
How about having a concentrated (opposite to a diffused) image of the reverberated female voice that move around in the background (using the binaural panner)?
andyr
That is an interesting idea. I've never used the binaural panner. Thanks!
