This is AMAZING! If I want to use this in an existing project do I just copy the Environment that you set up into my project?

This is great, I use Logic live and am always trying to find ways to make it more interactive. I have problems importing this in to an existing project, the cables all get assigned to random tracks. I'm pretty good in the environment but have almost no experience (or luck) moving objects from one project to another. Can someone walk me through getting this to work with an existing project?

I guess the other tact would be import my existing project to this one?

I usually just copy/paste the objects and then re-cable as needed. I wouldn't import your project to this one as this is an older one, so it's better to start from a Logic X template if you're using Logic X, and import the objects from this template into your Logic X template.

David,

Thanks for the reply (and all of the great stuff you do here). I'm close to getting this. I have the elements in place, the cables aren't going everywhere but where I am now stymied is how to assign each meta even to a track so that I can have what I want triggering.

I did figure this out, I had to make the meta events 'assignable' and that solved it. I've got one There is still some weirdness but 'm zeroing on on that. Plus I have assigned a channel splitter to the out and can have multiple plugs/patterms being triggered with one key.

Good to hear. I haven't used that template in a while myself so I don't even remember all the ins and outs... :D

This method works great. I have 2 questions about this.
The notes in the environment are set from C-1 to A#0, how can I change the notes?

I want to use multiple pattern trigger layers (by copy/paste) and assign each layer to different midi channels.
How can I do this?
