Jordi Torres
Nevermind..It's working now Hey, can you share with us how you got it to work? It could help someone having the same question. J.
metrobot
There are a few variations on how its done. This one seems to use the lest amount of CPU and is similar to the set-up in free Span. 1) Create 3 axes. 2) Hard pan aux one and 2 L & R. 3) Have the outputs of 1&2 set to aux 3 4) Set aux 3 to no output and insert an instance of span and name it SPAN1..or what ever name you like.. 5) In the Span plug-in..Goto the group assignments Under the Routing tab and set group A to stereo and B to 2. set the underlay's to 2 different colours. now what ever is being sent to aux 1&2 should show up in SPAN 1 as 2 colours. (you could set the colour for 2 by choosing group2 at the bottom of the plug-in and choosing the colour) 6) now repeat the process so you have another SPAN set up the same way ( naming it Span 2, using different outputs on the axes and choosing different colours for the group assignments) Once span 2 is working as it should go to the import/export setting, under the export tab choose 1. than select group 2 and export to 2. 7) Go to Span 1 Under Import/export choose the the import from tabs and select the exports from Span 2 8. Repeat the process with another instance of span. that will create 5 separate freq graphs in span 1's group one -you can import on only 3 channels per group. (maybe more in the surround settings) You could just create 2 auxs instead of three and what ever is being sent to aux 2 could just be sent to the aux that has span inserted on it (aux3). and i'll probably set mine up this way tomorrow …. Or you can set up span on 4-8 different auxes and route each instance to span1 Anyway the more you play around with SPAN plus the more you see how insane the routing and groupings can get. Also the settings and block sizes on each plug are shown in the importing plug (Span 1) and when not using span set the export buttons to - if you want to save CPU. I might look into the surround settings hope this helps -Matt
