c0lm23
I was using the Logic keyboard to input midi notes into my project. I suddenly found that the F2 key on the on-screen keyboard was not producing any sound on any instrument on any project I tried opening. When I used piano and bass, no noise was produced; however, when I selected an acoustic guitar, it produced a faint scratching sound on the tail end of the note, the sound that you would hear when sliding fingers along the neck of an acoustic guitar. I had recently used the EXS24 sampler to change the length of a sample on a sampled instrument, but I don't see why it would have affected every note on every instrument across multiple files. Eric Cardenas
Try this: Logic Pro X > Control Sufaces > Bypass All Control Surfaces
c0lm23
That seemed to have fixed the problem, thanks a lot! Any idea what I may have done to cause this to happen?
Eric Cardenas
Yes. You have learned that key to something by mistake. Note off is not learned and that's why you hear the string noise. Un-bypass All Control Surfaces then choose Logic Pro X > Control Surfaces > Controller Assignments... and delete the entry for F2.
c0lm23
Found and deleted the entry, it was muted. Thanks again for the help!
