Makzimia Posted August 25, 2015 Share Posted August 25, 2015 I upgraded. Jury still out, I MAY have an issue that was caused by it, but not 100% certain. DaveRobinson Posted August 28, 2015 Share Posted August 28, 2015 This update was the first one after a clean install of OS X. First time i’ve had a problem with an update, this one failed the first time. I’ve ended up with two copies of the update in the Mac App Store. I started hearing occasional static noises from the speakers and felt as though the performance of Logic was slightly worse. Not a major reduction, just a feeling. Enough to make me “consider” running the combo update. I’m still thinking about it. The static noise is gone now. I used Quicktime to make a screen capture movie and set my speakers to “Internal Speakers” for recording. Once done I re-set to my main speakers. I haven’t heard the static noise since.
