JPV
Hi, new to the forum. I was playing with the Transposer MIDI FX Plugin in Logic Pro X 10.2 and noticed that the "User Scale" doesn't seem to work properly. Anytime I click on a key, on the little orange keyboard, the scale reverts back to Chromatic. This didn't seem to happen with previous versions of Logic Pro X. I wonder if anyone else can confirm if this is a bug that may have been introduced in version 10.2.

Eric Cardenas
Confirmed! Lets move this to the Bugs & Workarounds section.
JPV
Thanks for confirming guys. I went ahead and submitted a bug report (that seemed more like a marketing questionnaire than anything else) to Apple.
jbw
Crud, just noticed this too. So it's going to take what, many months before we get a fix for this simple bug that could probably be fixed in less than an hour?

Yes, even if the fix takes 20 seconds (which happens sometimes), they can't just release "one fix." For all they know, this simple fix creates 20 new bugs (which happens often). There needs to be testing rounds etc....
Eric Cardenas
This one is fixed in Logic Pro X 10.2.1.
H. Ceon
Nope... it's not fixed... I just found this thread now, because I am having the exact same problem in Logic 10.2.1... The transposer works fine, untill you make changes to the scale... as soon as it switches to "user scale" it goes into chromatic mode. Eric Cardenas
Thanks for testing it out. You are totally right. It's only the graphics that are fixed. Moving it back to the dungeon.
Eric Cardenas
This one is also still broken in Logic Pro X 10.2.2.
Eric Cardenas
But now it's fixed in Logic Pro X 10.2.3.
