procomposer Posted September 8, 2016 Share Posted September 8, 2016 Hello, My name is Scott and I've used Logic for years for my profession. I cannot figure this out though! Snapping the anchor of an audio file to the playhead is simple as is snapping the playhead to the start/finish of an audio file. However- I can't seem to figure out how to snap THE END of the audio region to the playhead. So for instance my audio region ends at bar 5 and the playhead is at bar 15, when I snap it over the end of the region will now be up against bar 15. How do we do that?? Please help- it would help my workflow so much! Thank you! Eric Cardenas Posted September 8, 2016 Share Posted September 8, 2016 You could also create a small macro to with a couple of key commands. Move To Playhead ➤ Set Locators by selection and Enable Cycle ➤ Move Locators Backward by Cycle Length ➤ Go To Left Locator ➤ Move To Playhead. This has the advantage of also working on MIDI regions. Are you using a third-party solution (Keyboard Maestro, QuicKeys, etc) to create the macro or something OSX-native (Automator, etc)? J.
