Issue Building a New Layout [BUG]

I am a new user of MainStage.  So far I am very impressed with the program.  I have version 3.2.4.  I am able to use MS3 with my setup using the pre made templates but I am having trouble building a layout from scratch and adding controls to a layout.  I have searched all over for a solution to what I am experiencing but have found nothing like it so far.  When I try to drag a new screen control onto the layout pane, the control will drop back to the palette as soon as I cross the border into the layout pane.  Occasionally I can get a control to lock on to the very bottom edge of the pane and then I can move it up but most of the time I cannot.  Is there something I am missing here?  None of the videos that I have watched show anything like this. 

I am having the same problem. I have built many layouts but it just starting happening to me. I cant drag an icon over the section where you put the device icon to other main sectiom where you design your layout.

It lets you add it once and the. The second device icon you try to drag up doesnt let you. It lets you use premadr icons and delete them but not add new ones.

For some reason i cant drag them in i have to double click and it does it. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Yes. It's a bug.

I am having this exact same issue.  Any work around or any idea when this might be fixed.

Spoke to apple pro today about this issue.  The work around is to simply double click the screen control instead of dragging it into the layout  Works fine.
