anp27
Hey everybody, I'm having this problem where I can't delete old Control Surfaces from the Control Surface Setup dialog box. I have a duplicate of my Edirol PCR-500 which is labeled as 'Logic Control #2' that I can't get rid of. Anybody else has this problem? Solutions? I've tried deleting my Logic X plist from the Preferences Panes, to no avail. Solved, had to have the Advanced features on. David Nahmani
That info is not stored in your plist but in another preference file called com.apple.logic.pro.cs - try trashing that one instead (after quitting Logic).

Where is the .cs file located, David?
David Nahmani
Same as the plist, under ~/Library/Preferences/ It really is another preference file but for Control Surfaces (.cs)

unyun
Thank you, anp27!! I had the same problem with MicroKontrol kept coming up at startup even though it wasn't attached. I had to enable the Advance Control Surfaces in the Preferences before I could delete the MicroKontrol. Thanks so much for that tip!! ag75
Thank you for the Advance feature suggestion. I was having the same problem and that worked for me. I can now edit my control surfaces. Thanks! Andrew
connylindstrom
Hi, Probably no one sees this in a solved thread, but IF: I deleted the com.apple.logic.pro.cs and now the sound does not work any more. The meters are indicating sound and the sound card is still there in the prefs, but no sound out. The sound card itself works fine. (UAApollo Twin) Logic 10.0.7 I've tried resetting Core Audio in devices prefs but does not help. Please help!
