Can Logic Record At Half Speed?

Hey Eric,

The part that's malfunctioning is under the following conditions:

I am recording at -40% speed. I can listen to the playback of the recording at that speed, but If I then move the speed back to +-0 playback sounds garbled, or just not there. Visually the recorded track is there when it's sped back up, but the waveforms appear out of sync.

I have the answer. I wanted to do a song at 110 bpm with a burning fast guitar solo that I cannot play! I played the guitar solo at my regular speed for twice the length (16 bar lead vs. the 8 I wanted to use) and mastered the lead guitar track to the sound I wanted (used Waves GTR3) - "Solo Lead" on the GTR Stomp is a great sound. Using varispeed (speed only), increased the speed by 100%, bounced the guitar to mp3 and then opened a new project at 110 and brought the mp3 in where I wanted the 8 bar lead to be - sheer perfection!!

Don’t bounce to mp3. It’s low quality.

Bounce to PCM and select AIFF or WAV
