Babe Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 To get the proper sound with all the automation, I have to start play 1.5 sec before the actually note. I can understand that you have to start play before the automation change, i.e I have my automation start 3 ticks before the note, but 1.5 sec! In some instances, the note itself will not sound if I don't start play far enough ahead of the note. I work exclusively in midi and use midi automation. If I don't start far enough ahead, let's say I start 1/8 note ahead, and I have a cc change 3 ticks ahead of the note, the cc will change for an instant and revert back to the value it was before the change.
