E-Drum Midi cut out

Hello

 

I recently attempted to use my electronic drum kit (it's the old version of this http://www.gear4music.com/Drums-and-Percussion/Digital-Drums-501-Electronic-Drum-Kit-Package-Deal/CWZ)

 

When I load up Logic Pro X the kit works fine but after about a minute it just cuts out, I can only get it working again by replugging it again.

 

I'm running on a 13" Macbook pro mid 2014. Kit is plugged in via USB i've tried multiple different cables and both ports. I'm running Logic pro x v 10.1.1 and Yosemite 10.10.2
