kevaquarian
Hi. There is no anchor showing in Logic X for some audio regions. It's really pissing me off. Has anyone else got this going on? Thanks. Eric Cardenas
I'm not sure if this is a deliberate change or not but if you look closely you should be able to see a small black diamond at the bottom of the region.
kevaquarian
Hi Eric. Thanks for the swift reply. I'm gonna check this now. Do you see it on the screenshot?
kevaquarian
I'm aware that the anchor symbol has changed in Logic X, compared with L9, if that's what you mean? Basically, I had an Apple Loop from Zero-G, that I dragged into LX - it was a longish file - say 40s. I converted it into a "new audio file" straight away, as I have seen dodgy behaviour when editing audio on Apple Loops before. I open the resulting file in the sample editor and no anchor shows. It's not on the screenshot as far as I can see? I then worked around it by dragging in the front of the region. Then I made a few snips across the file and carried on working. Now the pieces I have cut DO show an anchor? Wtf? Is it some bug due to audio file length or something? Weird. kevaquarian
One of the pieces of the original file that I cut. Now the anchor appears. This is the behaviour I'm speaking of - intermittent showing of the anchor symbol. Screen Shot 2015-03-30 at 19.42.15.pdf
Eric Cardenas
Sorry, I missed your screenshot. I converted it into a "new audio file" straight away, I don't think it is related to the length of your file at all. You should be able to see anchors independent of its length. You can attach your project here and I'll see if I can find something that's off.
kevaquarian
Hi Eric. OK - thanks. It's "too late" now, as I have cut the file and now the anchor appears at expected. However, I don;t want to run into this again, so if you can hang in there for an update on this thread, I'll try to recreate the scenario in another project, and post that here. it may not be today though. Many thanks for your attention on this. Kev
