Anchor not showing in Logic 10.1.1?

I'm aware that the anchor symbol has changed in Logic X, compared with L9, if that's what you mean?

Basically, I had an Apple Loop from Zero-G, that I dragged into LX - it was a longish file - say 40s. I converted it into a "new audio file" straight away, as I have seen dodgy behaviour when editing audio on Apple Loops before.

I open the resulting file in the sample editor and no anchor shows. It's not on the screenshot as far as I can see?

I then worked around it by dragging in the front of the region. Then I made a few snips across the file and carried on working. Now the pieces I have cut DO show an anchor? Wtf?

Is it some bug due to audio file length or something?

Weird.

Hi Eric.

OK - thanks. It's "too late" now, as I have cut the file and now the anchor appears at expected.

However, I don;t want to run into this again, so if you can hang in there for an update on this thread, I'll try to recreate the scenario in another project, and post that here.

it may not be today though.

Many thanks for your attention on this.

Kev
