Connect 1 fader to 2 Instruments?

I want to assign a single fader to control two different parameters on two different instruments. The regular assign workflow does not allow this, assigning to a second destination breaks the first one.

 

Is there a way?

Do you intend to control the fader via MIDI?

 

I've never tried it, but set up TWO faders on the screen (in edit mode), and then assign them to respond to the same MIDI CC message. Then map each of those faders to the parameters you want to control.

You can add multiple mappings using '+' or the Action ( Gear) menu in the screen control inspector
