ging
Correct me if I'm wrong. When I use any one of the export options in the file menu the resulting audio file is with the inserts on that track. If I wanted to export all the audiofiles and take it to protools to mix how would I do that with out the effect. Would I have to bypass each one? ging
is there a way to do it so the efects are exported also. ? I believe David is saying that it does export the inserts affecting the track
gsilbers
but no automation?
David Nahmani
Export > Tracks (...) is always pre-fader-section (pre-mute, pre-pan..) All plug-in automation is exported, but not the volume/mute/pan automation obviously.
ging
The easiest way to do a raw export is to do a save as use the new session to strip all the automation and plugs away and the export everything. Is there a quick way to mute all inserts?
David Nahmani
You could create a "bypass all plug-ins" button in the environment... starting with this button I created, but routing into all channel strips! http://logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=10694
gsilbers
will that by pass vistual instruments?
David Nahmani
If done right it won't. You would have to create different signal streams for instruments and for audio tracks.
