I'm using the MPC Renaissance via USB, connected to my Mac Pro; to trigger plugin drum sounds within Logic. I can trigger the plugin drum sounds to record within the MPC plugin sequencer BUT what I want to do is to hit the MPC pads and record the midi info onto Logics arrange page; using the MPC plugin sounds. You would think this is easy but for some reason, Logic doesn't record the triggered MPCs midi notes when the plug in is open. The MPC controller can act as a trigger for other plugins; and record onto the arrange page but not it's own plugin. Is there a way of subverting Akai's intentions via the Environment?
