steveLpx1
I move between projects fairly often, and I generally use the same bus/aux combinations on all of them, and I have a "standard" naming convention as well. Recently I had project "crash" and had to recreate it via "import all" into a blank project. Because the new version was not based on my standard template I used an entirely new bus/aux/name sequence. Here's the rub. When I closed the new project and opened an older one, this older one now had the "i/o labels" from the new project. If this is a "feature" can it turned off. If its a bug I can report it.../s~
Eric Cardenas
I/O Labels are global and not project related.
steveLpx1
thanx, Eric, for the replay...but after working with the "feature" for a while longer, it seems to me, if the functionality is not a "bug" then it is just bad "design." Am I missing something here?.../Steve~
markalex905
I too just got a mix back from another engineer. Unfortunately, because I have global names for all my Aux busses and sends, the naming is all messed up here. Is there a trick to changing the names in one project without messing up 100 other songs?
