Delay in milliseconds

Maybe I misunderstood, but... as long as I have a region (MIDI or Audio) selected, there is a changeable region delay parameter. Clicking on the word does nothing, like it does nothing on any word in the inspector, you need to click to the right of the word(s).

However, it is all in ticks. I only found milliseconds delay on MIDI (Software Instrument) track inspectors.

Edit: I did misunderstand. KerekesGabor93 was looking for this feature:

..which I only found on Software Instrument track inspectors.

Clicking on the double arrows at least gives a...

My understanding was that the OP wanted it displayed in ms. That was possible in Logic 9.

Yes, I eventually  got that. Strange that they restricted that choice.

Is this feature available only at the MIDI and instrument tracks ? Cannot I use delay in milliseconds on audio tracks ??

You cannot display the delay value in ms in the Region inspector for any type of track.

You can display the delay value in ms in the Track inspector for external MIDI or Software Instrument tracks, but not for audio tracks, correct.

Yeah but it's only a minor drag. You can switch back and forth if you need to see it in ms.

There is also an important thing with the delay parameter in the region inspector.

The delay is actually calculated in ticks and not in ms. This will have an impact when using a tempo map that isn't static, as the real time calculation is based on the amount of delay in ticks, for the region, in correlation to the BPM at the playhead:

BPM@Playhead / 60s / 3840 * `region delay in ticks´

The delay parameter in the track inspector is actually calculated in ms (when using that option) and allows therefor for a ±500 ms delay in 0.1 ms increments or a ±99 tick setting.
