When I record bass I usually record both Di and Amp and in Logic 9 when I recorded in cycle mode if I recorded over 5 cycles, I'd get 5 different Bass Di and Amp takes, and the regions would have a number added- so I'd get regions named something like Bass Di 1, Bass Amp1, then Bass Di 2, Bass Amp2 etc. Having just switched to X, my cycle recordings just say "Bass Di, Bass Amp " and so when I have multiple passes, its hard to work out which parts should be placed next to each other.
