Velocity curve issue [SOLVED]

Hi everyone.

 

I am trying to draw a velocity ramp for a snare roll, but the last 2 bars of notes keep snapping to full velocity regardless of what value I draw the ramp to. Am I doing something wrong here?

Try drawing the line with the pointer tool?

My guess is, you were trying to use it with the Pencil tool as your Command-click tool? Creating a line (with the Pointer or the Pencil) while holding Command is a scale operation.

I've seen alot about how to make a LINE, and you can make many lines, but is there a way to CURVE that line? Like an S-curve or whatever. I'd like to be able to make the line from the beginning to the end of line of notes in a MIDI region and then pull it around to make curves. I tried using the automation curve/select tools, but no dice.
