Score editor Part Box missing important articulations

I recently upgraded my iMac late 2009 to Yosemite from Snow Leopard. In doing so I had to upgrade from logic 9 to X. I've noticed that my score editor part box is missing a lot of the categories of articulations, dynamics and other things I need to produce a good score. Any thoughts on how I can fix this? I have downloaded all the additional content for Logic X.

I have attached a screen shot of what my part box in score editor view looks like. For some reason my entire picture isn't displayed but you can still see that there are only a couple categories for part box.

It also seems that some of the drum samples in the drum bank are not present. Not sure if this is related.

 

Any advice would be much appreciated

Choose Logic Pro X > Preferences > Advanced Tools and select the Score checkbox.
