Replace/Double Drum track issue

Hello,

I am trying to replace/double Kick and snare. I replace/double kick no problem, but when I get to replace/double the snare it replaces the channel strip of the kick with the new snare track.

 

Anyone have this issue?

Are you trying to replace the kick and the snare on the same track?

Highlighting different tracks.... Kick then snare. They are phase locked live drums with the group inactive and track stacked.

You need to press OK in between kit pieces.

Replace kick. Click OK.

Select snare and choose Replace/Double again.

I double the live kick track, click okay, the DAW track appears. Great. Then I go to the live snare track and do the same thing. The snare track replaces the kick drum DAW track channel strip. The kick mdi information is still the but no NO input.
