AlexGodbehere
Sorry for all of the posts in this forum as of late. I've recently moved back to logic from Ableton and I'm finding the program to be much less intuitive than I remember. I'm loading up the bx_control pluginin from brainworx (which ran without a hitch in live) and as soon as I play the track, the audio becomes stuttered and the CPU bar becomes full. Am I missing something? I should note that it seems to be happening with plugins being converted to 64bit using 32lives, however I cannot confirm this to be the culprit. Are there any known issues with 32Lives and 10.1.1?

Jordi Torres
No such problems with bx_control over here. It is available as a 64bit plug-in so there's no need to "convert" it with 32Lives. Please click this link to your signature and add your system information: • Logic version and sub-version (e.g. Logic 10.0.7) • OS X version and sub-version (e.g. OS 10.9.3) • Computer (e.g. MacBook, Mac Pro, iMac) • Processor (e.g. 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) • Memory (e.g. 2GB) • Audio interface manufacturer and model (e.g. Presonus AudioBox USB) • MIDI Controller manufacturer and model (e.g. M-Audio Axiom Pro 49) (most of that information can be found by choosing Logic Pro X > About Logic Pro X, and > About This Mac) Thanks. AlexGodbehere
Thanks, I'll check out the 64bit version and look into the 32Lives issue. Updated my sig too. Just a quick one whilst you're here actually. I've moved back to Logic from Ableton and I've got a few queries about various parts of the new Logic X. If I were to ask here on the forums, would it be preferred to have one 'quick fire' thread or distribute my questions amongst multiple?

AlexGodbehere
Quick update if anyone else runs into the 32Lives issue. "If you're experiencing higher than usual CPU usage and hearing crackles in Logic Pro X, please increase your I/O Buffer Size to 256 samples or higher and more importantly, set your Process Buffer Range to Small in the Audio Preferences settings (Logic Pro X> Preferences> Audio)."
