Project won't open without projectinformation.plist?

As the title suggests, my title won't open without a projectinformation.plist file, and I've already tried the technique of creating a blank one and putting it in the resource folder of the supposedly corrupt project file that I'm trying to open.

 

I tried to import the project into an older session, but it says the project is incompatible with the version...

 

I'm using Logic 10.1.1.

 

Is there a solution to this problem?

Also, if I'm missing some key information, please let me know and I will provide it for you if it helps.

 

Edit: after I used the technique of creating a new project and taking its projectinformation.plist file, it says "The file couldn't be opened because it's not in the right format".
