deckard1
Hi, Please see my sig for my computer specs. I am a bit confused. I am running only two tracks...Diva and Pianoteq, yet, my CPU meter within Logic X is skyrocketing while my HD meter doesn't even register. Can someone please explain to me what is going on here? I know Diva is a CPU hog, but, something seems amiss here. Thanks.
triplets
One plugin can make a core spike. Did you double click the meter to get the full read out?
deckard1
One plugin can make a core spike. Did you double click the meter to get the full read out? I didn't know you could do that. Thanks. I have no idea how to interpret this. Also, I want to make sure there is nothing wrong with my Mac Pro, especially since I bought it used off of Craigslist. simonb
Diva in itself will most likely spike a core on your Mac. Such a great but heavy instrument.
deckard1
In case anyone is interested in the thread topic regarding the redistribution of core usage, the following link is a good read. It was written for Logic 9, but, I assume it applies equally well to Logic X: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201838
