StudioQ1
Hello, On my Apple TV app, when I scrolled to the WWDC app, and clicked tracks, and in the section of media, there is an announcement for "What's new in Core Audio" The description reads: "See what's new in Core Audio. Learn about the enhancements to AVAudioEngine such as compressed audio format support, more flexible node connections and new Sequencer functionality... Speculations? Does this have ANYTHING to do with logic? ps.. in the wwdc event today they used an old version of logic... I didn't capture it but trusted logic expert and apple fan boy 7 skies did,

I didn't capture it but trusted logic expert and apple fan boy 7 skies did, I watched the Keynote. It was Bastille, using Logic 9. That segment was actually talking about the new Connect feature that's coming to iTunes. Several pro producers still use Logic 9. which is really still great. In regards to the new Sequencer feature, I really have no clue to what it might be. But I do like a lot of the new music features that will be coming to iTunes, and some of the new enhancements to OSX.

Does this have ANYTHING to do with logic? No. These are just expansions and new features for the various audio frameworks on OSX and iOS that developers can use to implement certain features in their apps (despite the media interest, WWDC is a developers conference and sessions are for them, not end users). Nothing to do with Logic.
des99
Having just watched the session video, it's a new framework in Core Audio that lets developers play back MIDI events and MIDI files to instruments on your Core Audio graph. So if a developer was implementing a sequencer as part of their app, they have an easier way of implementing this using the system frameworks.
