aggregate device as interface maudio410 and Vfire not happy!

I've recently begun working with an intel MacPro, and am determined to stay "in the box" I'm using an M audio firewire 410 as my interface. Not quite ready to ditch my Roland 5080 I'm using a resonus Vfire to interface that as well (r-bus to Firewire). Trouble is this: Although I've created an aggregate in my Mac audio setup, and logic sees it the vfire keeps "crapping out" and I'm not sure why.

 

The 2 interfaces start out in "sync" ie 44.1 but then the vfire keeps jumping from internal clocking to Rbus.

 

Anyone had any luck out there?
