Lizardking1960
Logic 10.0.7 On any track, when an instrument is played it sounds great. Then I "record enable" and I get a delay. I shut down Logic and reopen. I solo the track or mute all the other tracks and still that delay. I disable all other tracks that have any plugins enabled and still the delay. At this point I have to walk away from this recording since nothing can be done when a delay is always present. Any help would be appreciated. Lizardking1960
Resolved. When you try different amp models, Logic opens a new aux channel strip for each amp you try out. With so many amps plugged in at the same time, circuits get crossed. Resetting all the channels strips with amps then deleting them solved this issue. Eric Cardenas
Although this explains why you are hearing the latency as a delay it doesn't explain why you are hearing dual signals. The issue you are running into is caused by your interface's monitor chain. Turn off direct monitoring in your interface. Then use Low latency mode in Logic to avoid any awkward latency.
