aaronbagby
I'm having trouble routing my metronome to a mono output on my Saffire Pro 40. I've built a session for live use with my band, and I'm trying to have the click go to output 4 of the interface. I am able to select this output within the session and all works as planned, but when I close the session and re-open it, the click is back to Output 1-2. I know I can change it to another set of stereo outs in the metronome section of Project Settings, but I really want it to go directly to output 4. Can anyone help?? Jordi Torres
Hi, Set the output to "3-4" on your Metronome Project Settings, then pan the Click channel in the Mixer all the way to the right (Click the "All" button in the top part of the Mixer to show all channel strips). aaronbagby
Thanks. I was going to go that route, but I've been having issues with pan bleeding lately (click will bleed to opposite side regardless of panning) and I wanted to keep the click completely isolated from output 3. So I set the click to "Stereo Out" with the volume at -inf. and sent it pre-fader to an aux that is routed to output 4. This should do the job just fine for now, until I jump to Ableton Live. Jordi Torres
Hi, If your hardware is giving you crosstalk problems, you could also simply set the output of the Click channel to the desired mono output. J.
