Adam74
Hi all, I have seen a previous post about how to use an Arpegiattor to trigger external MIDI synths, I created a multi-instrument in the MIDI environment, highlighted all the channels I want, selected my MIDI interface, then created an Arpegiattor, took the out of the ARP and plugged it into my multi-instrument....nothing, no Arpeggiating going on! I named the multi-instrument, then selected it in my main window, dragged and dropped the Arp to a new track....still no arpeggiator! I am sure there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for this, but I cant find a way to apply Logics arp to my external gear and it is starting to get annoying! If you're using the arpeggiator object, the project needs to be playing back and you must of course feed it notes. J.
Adam74
"If you're using the arpeggiator object, the project needs to be playing back" I am such a doofus! Works fine, I just didn't hit play! Slightly off topic>> Is there a way to have the MIDI fx we get on VI channels, apply to external MIDI? I really like the chord machine and would like to use it on some of my keyboards....thanks in advance
