moving Apple loops and samples off of startup disk

My startup disk is a 250 GB SSD. It is getting filled up and I attribute various problems to having less than the recommended 20% free space. I see that Apple loops and samples take up a lot of space. Is it possible to move them off of my startup disk to another SSD? How would I go about this so that it does not mess things up for Logic X?

Thanks in advance.

That was a bit over my head, but if I understand correctly, I can make a folder on the other drive, copy the relevant files and then drag aliases back to the original folder and it will all work smoothly, right? Do I need to name the folder something specific or keep it at a certain hierarchal level?
